Andrew completed a Masters degree in Architecture at Harvard University in 2015 and is currently conducting PhD research at the National Technical University of Athens. He is an award-winning professional English writer and accomplished portfolio designer. He has worked for the Harvard University Admissions Office, as a Teaching Assistant with Pritzker-Prize winning architect Rem Koolhaas, and for five years as a private, professional English tutor for non-native speakers. Over the course of his academic career, Andrew has used his professional writing and portfolio design skills to secure over $90,000 in scholarships and financial awards.

Luigi LAFASCIANO

Luigi completed his B.S. and Masters degrees in Archaeology at the University of Bari, during which time he participated in the Erasmus exchange program to study in Spain. He has lived in and journeyed through several Mediterranean countries (namely Algeria, Turkey, Greece, France, Spain, and Italy) cultivating a multitude of interests in history, anthropology, popular music and culture, and ancient literature. He is currently working on his PhD thesis, about the role of the sacred in the political transition of the Greek Polis to the Early Christian town, at the University of Salerno (Italy) and the École Pratique des Hautes Études de Paris (France).

Alfonso DOMÍNGUEZ

Alfonso trained as a Classical Philologist at the University of Malága in Spain where he also received a Masters in Teaching in 2014. He specializes in textual criticism, and is particularly interested in Indo-European studies, and Linguistics and Literary Theory. His interests also include music studies and language didactics; and is trained as a teacher in classical languages. Alfonso is currently developing his PhD thesis on Byzantine Studies, making a Critical Edition of an unpublished text (the Anonymous Commentary of Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos) from Greek and Latin manuscripts, at the University of Salerno (Italy) and the University of Malgáa (Spain).

Assistant Service Director

Melissa SANCHEZ

Melissa obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English Language, Literature, History and Translation at the University of Grenoble 3 - Stendhal. As part of this degree, she studied for a year at SUNY in the state of New York, USA. She returned to France to earn her Master’s degree in Education where she developed her interest in immersive language-learning, known as the immersive CLIL method. Specialized in preschool, elementary school and language teaching, she then passed the National Recruitment Test for Primary School teachers. Melissa is currently applying her knowledge of alternative learning methods at the British Institute in Trento, Italy.
